Elizabeth K. Carroll is an award-winning documentary director and executive producer based in Mexico City.

Her debut feature, Diana Kennedy: Nothing Fancy , won a Jury Award for Excellence in Storytelling at SXSW 2019, a Best of the Fest Award at Palm Springs International Film Festival and was nominated for a James Beard Award for Best Documentary in 2020. The film was selected at 44 film festivals globally before securing theatrical release in the US and North American distribution through Greenwich Entertainment.

Elizabeth has since led in-house video creative for culinary startups Made In Cookware and Ooni, and produced freelance work for The New York Times, Netflix and Comedy Central.

She is currently executive producing Lucha Libre: Circus of Violence, a new documentary series about Mexican professional wrestling, directed by Emmy-winning filmmaker Andrew Romero, and is also serving as EP on IF/THEN, a new documentary from Chloe Taylor profiling Dr. Debra Gook, the Australian female scientist who discovered egg freezing.
